Yeşil Dedektör is a free application that provides an easy and convenient way to detect whether a venue is meeting the requirements of the Green Smoke-free Indoor Air Quality Standards (GS-IAQS) in Turkey. This app was developed as a solution to the problems of indoor air quality caused by the use of tobacco products. The application was approved by the Turkish Health Ministry in July 2008 and is currently in use.
What is the purpose of the application?

How does it work?
The application is based on the idea that a user can detect the use of tobacco products by the smell of tobacco smoke. The user can use the application on a mobile phone and select the venue from a list. The user can also identify the type of the venue by the description of the venue.
When the user clicks on the button, the application checks whether the venue is meeting the requirements of the GS-IAQS. If it is not, the user will be informed and the venue will be added to the list.
